Psychotherapy

I have 14-years of experience working with adult patients in individual, group and couples therapy. My primary orientation is contemporary relational psychodynamic, although I will adopt other techniques to meet patients’ individual needs. I treat patients using an experiential approach, meaning that I am very engaged in the process, treat each patient as a unique person with unique issues. I work very collaboratively and allow the therapeutic process to unfold naturally.

Trauma: I am the Psychology Director of the Trauma Program at the Karen Horney Clinic. I work in private practice with survivors of incest, sexual abuse, physical and emotional abuse.
Eating Disorders: I have a two year certification from The William Alanson White Institute in Eating Disorders, Addictions and Compulsions. I have experience working with all types of eating disorders and body image issues.

Alternative Lifestyles: I work with a variety of patients who live alternative lifestyles ranging from BDSM relationships, fetishes, and escorts.
Interpersonal Relationships: I work with many patients with primary relationship issues, particularly with patients stuck in self-destructive relationship patterns.

Sports Psychology: I work with athletes with performance anxiety, compulsivity and body image issues that often effect performance.
